I am basically a minimal stylist. A nice neat outfit, flattering pair of shoes, a trendy handbag, cool sunglasses and I am ready for the day! This time I did go a little bold on my vintage style floral black & white pencil skirt from Shoppers Stop that has been lying in my wardrobe since years unknown and had been glaring at me since the last few months. I have worn it on earlier occasions but kept the styling very understated with black loose top or a plain white shirt. This time I decided to cross my boundaries with this bright red drawstring batwing top from Serenity and added tones of black with my black Zara pumps and my cute li’l F21 handbag (I know you would recognize this bag from my previous posts). All in all its a bold yet minimal look that has two distinct elements, the skirt & the top, making individual statements yet coherent because of the accessories that work as a binder. This sort of skirt with vintage Victorian vibes will look great with solid colored tops such as mustard, bottle green or a royal blue.
