Layering is an important aspect when it comes to winter dressing. One has to be warm, cozy and yet stylish whatever may be the temperatures outside. Now layering can be a tricky business if you do not keep certain essentials in mind. These include the right shapes, fit, color and body type. But if done properly,it is a fun and interesting exercise. Its really cool to play around with different layering pieces because of the drama that they add to even the simplest of outfits. Additionally it keeps you warm & comfortable besides covering your extra flab around those important edges (if you have any)!
I wore this look on one of my day trips in Jaipur in the last week. What I loved about my go-to look was the monochrome layering with shades of brown and camel. It is an interesting combination since both the pieces, the jumper as well as the cardigan, blend well together because of their colors and styles. This is one of my favorite color combinations since its neutral, earthy, warm and goes well with my skin tone. A camel/ taupe trench can be further added to this combination for chillier days.
One can never go wrong with the monochrome layering because its one of the easiest layering processes with huge variety of options to choose from. I can tell from experience that if you are not too sure about layering in different colors, the best trick is to go monochrome. This is one layering trick that will always work whatever may be the styles of the pieces that you choose.
