How to wear a Summer Dress in Fall

The time is just right to transition majority of your summer clothing into fall because the air is certainly getting crisper. Fall is just my season because I find it exciting and creatively challenging to transform my summer looks for fall with simple layering techniques, use of right colors and bringing in the perfect fall accessories such as the ankle boots and sock boots.With fall comes in the rich & warm fall color palette consisting of browns, taupes, pewters, charcoal grays, black and other neutral tones. It is indeed a great visual delight to see how these neutral tones mix well with each other giving the outfit the perfect fall vibe and serve as a great background to introduce pops of color in the form of bags, sunnnies or even the lip color.

But me being a big fan of monochrome and minimalism, I have stuck to two colors only, chocolate & black, for today’s look. This fall look is quite strong specially because of my sunnies which completely elevate my look to a new level. These sunnies from Lenskart are like a stretched, sleeker, extreme version of the classic cat eye which add an instant futuristic vibe to the look. I have layered a black knit Zara shrug (over my chocolate cowl neck AND dress) which is a great layering piece for all those slightly chilly mornings & breezy late evenings. The other statement piece of today’s fall look is the broad brown clinch belt (with golden metallic buckle) from Accessorize which I have worn on a repeat ( I am totally obsessed with it) and which is absolutely trend-on with a lot of my outfits. The Mango chocolate ankle boots, the cute, li’l Chloë bag and neatly tied side pony-tail hair are perfect elements to finish off the look. What are your fall fashion hacks?
