It’s been a crazy winter this time in Delhi. With a dip in temperature, I have been struggling to organize not just my photo shoots but also my daily routine. For today’s post, I bring to you a simple accessory that can transform your basic winter look into something more dressier & put together. No points for guessing this one! Well it is the neck scarf that I simply cannot seem to do without this winter. Though I have not been much of a scarf/ wrap/ shawl fan in the past, I seem to be obsessing over them this season. Thanks to my evolving sartorial choices! My go-to bottom since the last few months has been the flare /wide-leg jeans and I think I’ve been repeating this silhouette so much because these jeans make me look taller. Coming to today’s look—With my tweed jacket (besides being warm & functional and adding to the wow factor) in place and my chunky suede chocolate ankle boots as my footwear, I was ready with my basic winter go-to look. All I had to do was spruce it up a little with my accent piece, the scarf.
Now there are a number of ways that a scarf can be worn depending upon your mood & occasion. This time I wore it two ways–as a long scarf and bundling up myself around the neck. You may also wrap it around like a shawl or may even tie it around your shoulder with a front knot. If you browse the internet, you can see as many as fifty ways of wearing a scarf, each of which elevate your outfit a notch higher. It’s the easiest & simplest way to update your winter wardrobe! I highly recommend you guys to invest in a few winter scarves/ wraps that can do wonders to your winter looks besides keeping you cozy & comfortable.
