A solid monochrome look is a great way to instantly look expensive, put together, and it takes almost no effort ! I feel absolutely sleek and chic when I’m donning a monochrome outfit. And with us being in the thick of summers, what better color than a blush pink ! It’s a shade that is super cool, absolutely chic & definitely very feminine. It is the perfect shade of pink that is not too girly and a monochrome look in this shade is bound to make you look and feel sophisticated & powerful.
So this outfit that I wore yesterday is a no brainer! It is a perfect matching set of linen trousers and a linen tunic in blush pink. The tunic, that I bought from a local market in Notting Hill, London, is over-sized with two huge pockets and gives a very summery, comfy, breezy, vibe. At the bottom it has a double layer giving the effect of ruffles. The blush trouser is a regular linen trouser from H&M which for some reason had not caught my fancy until now. Though this whole set could pass off like one matching co-ord set, the separate pieces can easily be styled on their own for multiple looks. Isn’t this one of the easiest ways to maximize your wardrobe? As for the rest of the look, I wore a pair of nude, transparent, lady-like heels and a few chunky necklaces to add a touch of polish & glitter. On closer look, this shade of pink blush color almost looks like a neutral and is a great color option for summer just like white or beige.
Though initially, a monochrome look in pink, may sound a bit intimidating and overdosed with femininity, but if worn right, it is a look that is very season appropriate and absolutely beautiful. What do you think?
