Much has already been said and written about Ruffles this spring/ summer but it seems that the trend is here to stay what with so many ruffle updates(dresses, shorts, skirts, gowns) hitting the fashion market everyday. Today’s post is all about this Koovs cold-shoulder top that combines two of my loves in a single piece— stripes & ruffles.What is interesting is how this Koovs top somehow says structure & sensuality at the same time.It’s a simple top with so much going one that its important to keep the rest of the styling minimal. While maintaining the basics of minimalistic dressing, I have tried to up the edgy quotient in both the looks that I styled with this gorgeous top. Instead of going in for the regular denim or pencil skirt, I opted for a skater flare skirt and leather pants to come up with two distinctive and edgy looks that are both unique yet classy and befitting for this season. In the first look, since both the red skirt and the ruffle top are quite empowering, I have dressed down the look with the basic black peep toes and a small cute black bag. In the second look, I have added a pop pf color with the royal blue medium size handbag and reflector sunglasses for that extra punch. Which one is your favorite?
